RYAN DAWLEY:
BRAD
Ryan is very arroused to be making his return to the Erie theatre scene in The Rocky Horror Show as the world's smallest Rocky...again. He has a degree from Gannon University with a BA in Theatre and Communication Arts and is now living the dream...or something like that. The little guy spent his summer living in Pittsburgh and auditioning in New York City. He has just moved back from Pittsburgh where he performed in a children's musical full of poop and fart jokes about natural gas safety as a 12 year-old named Ricky in "I Love Gas." He has recently been seen in several Empty Jug Productions at the Academy Theatre in Meadville, such as Grease (Doody), Jekyll and Hyde (John Utterson), Beauty and the Beast (LeFou), The Who's Tommy (Tommy), Singin' in the Rain (Cosmo Brown), and High School Musical (Troy Bolton). Now you can enjoy his shiney package and chissled rib cage in Rocky Horror! |

JERRY BRACE:
CRIMINOLOGIST
Long ago: Spanning a seven year period starting at age 19, Jerry Brace acted, directed, designed sets, lighting and costumes or provided technical direction for a total of 38 separate main stage productions in academic, professional and community theatre. Venues included the old Gannon Little Theatre (his alma mater) Erie Playhouse, Mercyhurst College, The Studio Arena Theatre and Albright Knox Gallery, Buffalo, NY and the New London Barn Theatre, NH. Then he did no theatre at all for the next 20+ years while raising a family.
But in 1995, at the urging of an old friend, he agreed to act in a comedy "Cheaters" for the Directors' Circle Theatre. That was followed quickly by appearances in "You Can't Take It With You" and "The Rocky Horror Show" at the Roadhouse Theatre. He was hooked. It was fun again. Tennessee Williams, British farce, independent film, Classical theatre or Dinner theatre (Brace has played eight different roles [30+performances] since joining the improvisational B&G Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre group in 2006). "Admittedly my sense of time is warped regarding "Rocky" but my best recollection is that altogether I've played the Narrator before a live audience more than fifty times… or was it 69? Entertaining people is what I enjoy most at this point in my life" says Brace. "It's just a jump to the left!" |
